Spark-Y is hiring a Development Manager; a leader within our organization that can support our Executive Director in driving major development and resourcing initiatives at Spark-Y. This is a flexible, hybrid working position that reports directly to the Executive Director.
Job Responsibilities:
Attends and contributes to meetings with partners, philanthropic consultants, new potential partners, and major donors.
Prepare and attend meetings, events, and other philanthropic / networking engagements, presenting as-needed.
Track relationships in Spark-Y’s CRM, collaborating with team members to integrate CRM workflows and automate relationship checkpoints.
Conduct check-ins with grant writer and other development team members to measure progress.
Essential Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience within gifting, funding, development, or event management.
Track record in relationship management/development.
Experience writing promotional materials.
Presenting experience.
Non-Essential Experience:
Event planning experience.
Administrative assistance / Executive assistance experience.
Philanthropic sales experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $65,000-80,000 determined by experience. Additional annual bonus structure for exceeding revenue goals.
Annual Raise: Eligible for a performance-based raise at the start of each fiscal year.
PTO: 12 days + 7 personal / sick days, most federal holidays, and 2 day PTO accrual annually.
Monthly Health Stipend: $125/month.
Tele-Health Enrollment: Provides access to basic consultation and prescription services.
Tax-Advantaged Retirement Plan (non-matching): Eligible to contribute to a 401K investment account after a 90 day probationary period.
Maternity / Paternity Policy: Following FMLA unpaid leave (with your job protected and still available after a 12 week leave period), Spark-Y also offers 3 paid weeks (15 business days) during this period.
